What Brought About this Painting?

It just seemed like I should start another painting here at the end of the year! I had a canvas ready to go and a beach scene in my head. 

Started this one on December 29, 2021...

Thursday, December 30, 2021 10:06 PM and here is what I have so far. I just applied the Golden Acrylic Glass Bead Gel in the sand so let's see how it looks in the AM.

6:20 AM Friday, December 31, 2021 and here is "Dream Beach"

I think I have a theme going with painting seascapes, islands, tropical artwork. Corona virus continues around the world and I am thinking of sitting on an island with the fresh ocean breeze, the ocean doing its thing on the shore, me with toes in the sand.

More like holding a Corona too.

Alas, here I am, Thanksgiving and Black Friday, dreaming of those breezes and sand toes.
