Falls Church Arts Reception June 6, 2026 Member Show A-L

Saturday, June 6, 2026 Falls Church, VA. An art reception at the Falls Church Arts Gallery at 700 West Broad Street Falls Church, VA 22046 for there annual Member art group show for members with the initialed last names of A-L. Sandra McClelland Lewin and I have artworks in this show as well as fellow PWAS member Lizzy Javier.

Falls Church Arts Gallery Member Show A-L Jun 6-Jul 12

The annual member art show at the Falls Church Arts Gallery for members initialed A-L opens on Saturday, June 6 and runs until July 12, 2026. The art reception is also June 6 from 7 to 9pm. Come and see the art, including mine!

My Art in the FCA Show

With my initialed last name of Liguria, that puts me in this art show as a member of the Falls Church Arts. Members are allowed to enter one piece per artist so my entry is "Garden Patio" which is 16x20x1.5 in acrylics. It reminded me of a patio I sat on while in Sicily some years ago - sort of a garden with a view that I wish I had now. Note the hoe and garden shoes that were left there for the gardener. Garden Patio won an Honorable Mention Ribbon earlier this year at the Fredericksburg Fine Art Show and Sale at the Dorothy Hart Community Center on Canal Street.

Art Reception at Falls Church Art Aug 16, 2025 

Saturday, August 16, 2025. The "Layers" Art Show at the Falls Church Arts Gallery at 700-B West Broad Street, Falls Church, VA opened with the artist reception and about 67 artists and artworks. The show runs from August 16 to September 28, 2025 and includes all media and is described as 'works that contain multiple layers'. The Juror was Tricia Ratliff.

Art Reception 

Sandra McClelland Lewin and I had both entered artworks that were selected to show, so off to the reception we went.

The Falls Church Art Gallery reception was well attended and we saw several of our art friends and/or their artwork. It's always fun interacting with our fellow artists, and we voted for our favorite work too. We'll see how that turns out.

The Juror's Choice Award was given to "Mourning" by Jenny Newberry and is the extreme left in this photograph above.

Sandra's painting "Egret in Flight" was mentioned by the juror for consideration as one of the show's juror favorites.

So many art shows to enter! The calls for art are coming in hot and heavy, so back to the easel I go, apply, apply, apply!

Art Reception Falls Church Art Gallery

The Flora and Fauna Art Show is up at the Falls Church Art Gallery at 700-B W. Broad St. (Route 7), Fall Church VA.

Flora and Fauna Art Show in Falls Church, VA

The art reception for the show was on opening night, April 20. My friends Bettie Sperty, Sandra McClelland Lewin and I all entered the call for art and Sandra and I were able to go to the reception. The show will run from April 20 to June 9, 2024 https://fallschurcharts.org/ We understood there were over 300 entries and each of us had one painting selected each.
