About this Painting…

This one really pops out at you - photorealism. I suppose some artists are rather fond of some paintings over others and I think this one is a favorite now.

The black painted background really makes the terracotta pot stand out along with the pink African Violets and the green, yellow leaves with their deep maroon, purple undersides.

My new DL Art coffee cup as a reference for size is not included.

A dear friend with her new original painting hanging in her home. I love to see my artwork with its new owner!

Post 8: When Just a Wall Needs a View

When Just a Wall Needs a View

Pink Floyd has a wall and so do I.

This is the top of my stairs. Who wants a blank wall to look at every day? Not I. This has been a work in progress for awhile, I may add more later. The two walls have to faux "blocks" while the archway looks out at the sea with wisteria over the patio. Mountains in the background. Pardon the water bottle, it was thirsty work.
