I always thought that although getting flowers from someone is a very nice thing, but they unfortunately don't last all that long. So pretty when you first get them and they smell so nice, then DEAD. Thrown away. The End.

Now, a nice painting of flowers - makes more sense minus the smell. Can fragrance go into paint? Scratch and sniff? 

Here's the first of flowers in a vase, I'll need to try flowers in a glass vase too. So much to paint, so little time...stop and smell the peonies.
