The colors of the women's dresses in the festivals! That calls my attention - the swirling, flowing skirts with ribbons, lace, ruffles.

The gallery at Open Space Arts in Woodbridge, VA has upcoming art shows with themes that I hope a few of my last paintings will fit into.

Pretty close to done on this one, what do you think? Never thought I would be painting people, but I am trying! Faces and flesh tones - layers and layers.
