A rocky mountain painting of a path going up and around the side. Very detailed artwork of the rock face with trees, shrubs and mountain in the background.

I was thinking about Robert Frost's poem, "The Road Not Taken" when I was deciding what to paint next. On this painting, you do not see the "Two roads diverged in a yellow wood" which I do hope to paint at some point, but I did like the interesting colors of the 'red dirt' path which you do find in good ole' Virginia quite often. Granted, this path looks a lot easier to meander than actually crawling over and through the rocks themselves, but it's more the wondering of, what's around that corner?
