I don't know about you but I have always been a "Hobbit", "Lord of the Rings", JRR Tolkien fan. One of my goals as an artist, is to paint a variety of movie themed paintings, making a Hobbit hole, a necessity on canvas.

What Brought About this Painting?

My first movie themed painting was the Ruby Slippers from the Wizard of Oz (SOLD). The second was a scene from "Singing in the Rain". So, this third one is is Bilbo and Frodo's house in the Shire, also known as a Hobbit hole. If you have seen the movies or read the books, you KNOW what the Shire is, and who the Hobbits are.
