At the ARTfactory in Manassas, Virginia

I have four pieces of artwork hanging at the ARTfactory at 9419 Battle Street, Manassas, Virginia 20110 from May 4 until June 4, 2022 with the Prince William Art Society's 50th Anniversary show.

In the center is my "Up in the Trees" Acrylic 11x14 painting

This is my 16x20 acrylic painting called "Belmont Bay Marina" which is in Occoquan, Virginia

This painting on the right is my 18x24 inch painting called "No One Can Teach Riding So Well as a Horse"

Creative Brush Studio Small Works Show and Sale in Manassas, Virginia

Today, November 28, 2021, the Sunday after Thanksgiving is now called "Artists Sunday". We have Black Friday, Small Business Saturday, Artists Sunday and Cyber Monday - all geared toward the big Christmas gift-giving push and countdown to December 25. 

Artists Sunday in my opinion, is the more enjoyable one. Sure, the art is for sale, but it is also free to view and admire the art presented by local artists - ALL over the country. Here in Prince William County, many of our local art groups, art galleries and shows are getting the word out to support the arts, small business, and shop local - a great combo.

Celebrate the Art at Creative Brush Studio

Creative Brush Studio, located at 8951 and 8953 Center Street, Manassas, Virginia 20110 and online at

http://www.creativebrush.com/smallworks/index.html is now displaying art by approximately 35 artists - called "Small Works Show and Sale". Meaning that all the works are under 11x14. 

I have 2 paintings at this show! The Small Works Show is on until December 24 - but get by there as soon as you can - the treasures are for sale after all, and your favorite may get sold!

My small 6x6 "A Slice of Cherry Pie" is above.

Taking a photo does not do the art justice. You have to see it in person to truly enjoy the experience that is art.

Open Space Art at Stonebridge

Originally scheduled for November 26-28, 2021, Stonebridge - Potomac Town Center in Woodbridge, Virginia has been asked to extend the art show through December 12. Open Space Art is located near Wegmans, next to Ulta and across from DSW. Sponsored by JSG Smith and the Prince William County Arts Council, Open Space Art is a "popup" art exhibit of local artists here in Prince William County displaying outstanding, jury selected paintings and artworks in quite a variety of mediums, styles and subjects.

You are invited to come by and enjoy the artwork! The gallery is absolutely beautiful.
