Open Space Arts at Stonebridge Art Show "African American Voices and Visions"

The new art show began on Wednesday, Feb 1 and will run until Feb 26. There is an artist reception TONIGHT - Friday, Feb 3 at 6:30pm at Open Space Arts 15000 #140 Potomac Town Center, Woodbridge, VA. That's at Stonebridge and the gallery is between The Loft and Ulta, across the street from DSW. 

Come by and enjoy the art, meet some of the artists and have a great time!

The current art show to kick off 2023 at Open Space Arts (OSA) is called "After the Master's Style". I entered some pieces in this show with some of them in the theme of the "inspired by" category. They were so much fun to do!

As always at the gallery, all artwork is for sale and if it is showing a green dot, there are prints available. The art show will be up from January 4 to January 29, 2023 and I hope you will go by and see ALL of the art there, it is a very cool show.

Post 271: After the Master's Style in January 2023

After the Master's Style in January 2023 

If there is one thing an artist needs to know beforehand is if there is an upcoming art show's Call for Art that might have a title, or dare I say "theme" that is requested. Acrylic paintings, ok you might have time to whip out a photo or painting (HA!) but oil painters need time to get the painting done and DRY. 

In January 2023, the plan for that show at Open Space Arts at Stonebridge, is "After the Master's Style" which means that the Call for Art for that show will go out in early December 2022 so you will need some art READY!

What Have I Been Painting?

I've gotten a few things ready for the show including some mini paintings - those wee 3x4 miscellaneous paintings I do with the mini easels. Here are a few:

Occoquan Arts and Crafts Show Sept 24 and 25, 2022

Going back to Occoquan to enjoy the weekend at the annual Occoquan Arts and Crafts show with the Prince William Art Society. We will be on the corner of Mill Street and Union Street - spaces 34 and 35 so look for us! LOTS of great art by local artists! Lots of small works, prints and maybe a few return art pieces!

The art show at Open Space Arts at Stonebridge, will end on August 14 - so see it before it is gone!

Where is Open Space Arts?

You can find the art gallery at 15000 #140 Potomac Town Center, Woodbridge, VA. Most guests are amazed that there IS an art gallery not only in the shopping center but having such a beautiful one in Prince William County!

This particular art show began on June 29, with 36 artists showing their stuff - and a wide variety of styles, mediums and techniques it is!

May 4 -  May 26, 2022 Beauty and the Beach at Stonebridge Open Space Arts Show 

A new month, a new art show. Open Space Arts at Stonebridge in Woodbridge, Virginia is a new art gallery sponsored by JBG Smith and PWCAC and managing the day to day activities is the Prince William Art Society. The gallery is currently showing the art of 19 different LOCAL Prince William County artists in a mixture of mediums and styles.

Open Space Arts at Stonebridge

The gallery is between the new Barnes and Noble and the Loft on one side and Ulta on the other. Across the street is DSW. 15000 Potomac Town Center, Woodbridge, VA.

Open Wednesday - Saturday from 12-7pm and Sundays 12-5pm the gallery features art from some very talented artists from all parts of PWC. And some of my art is there too!
