What should this painting be? Any suggestions? Leave your comments!
In preparing the canvases for painting, from layers of gesso to the first layer of paint, sometimes I will go ahead and give a basecoat to another canvas at the same time. While I was starting "Hydrangeas Over a Rock Wall", I went ahead and did another black and grey split color background similar to the "Large Red and Gold Flower in a Black - White Background" I did a week or so ago.
I'm considering another flower, a large bloom like a sunflower, rose, hibiscus, etc. Would you like to see anything in particular?
Suggestions are welcome!
March 2, 2021 1:50 pm - I was working on a side project the last few days along with actually wiring all my paintings so they can be hung. In the back of my mind was this background painting and what should be in its foreground. I finally came up with a plan and got it started today.
